The Galapagos Islands are a volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. It is known as one of the most fabulous destinations in the world for wildlife viewing. It is a province of Ecuador and is located about 1,000 km from its coasts. I think it is a really impressive place, because it has animals that are endemic that cannot be seen anywhere else. Something disappointing is the prices that are in that place, a single bottle of water costs almost $ 3 !!!. Finally, the most remarkable thing is that each animal has a name, such as the legendary giant tortoise George.
